Cremation: What does the Bible teach?
Categories: resurrection, death | 2007 | by Ken Horn | 3 commentsI don’t find anything in Scripture that condemns or condones cremation. I believe it is a matter of choice. It isn’t going to matter to the Lord whether you’ve been cremated or not when the resurrection comes. The power of the supernatural is going to take place and your body is going to come together. Cremation is really a decision to be made based upon the preference of the family.

Cremation was a manner that the pagan religions would defy God in one last effort King Saul was cremated. Dagon worship would cremate their dead. The Jewish religion does not accept cremation because man is suppose to go back into the ground as dust/dirt naturally. Cremation blocks this process.
Thank you, Brother Trask, for your input on this issue. Thank you also for the reference page. You have been very helpful. Thanks to all who make this site possible.
I Have To Say That The GOD I Serve Is All Powerful And What I Tell People Who Ask Me This Qestion Is, I Don’t See Anywhere In The Word Of God Where HE Condemns Cremation And I Also Tell Them It’s Not How You Go Down But How You Come Up. Did You Die With Jesus As Your Savior? Then You Habe Nothing To Worry About. But If You Die And Do Not Have Jesus As Your Lord And Savior, Then You’re In Alot Of Trouble. God Bless, Kenny.
